When our mature copper beech tree failed in high-winds we needed help, Dovetail responded quickly attending within an hour of calling, they contacted the local authority to discuss the trees condition as it was a TPO’d tree (tree protection order). it was agreed that the tree could be removed as it was dangerous and the tree was down and safe within 2 hours, the cost was explained prior to commencing works and no additional surprises. We have used Dovetail again for work on our TPO lime trees and replacement planting of a Copper Beech as we loved the one we lost.

When we decided to undertake a home improvement project and create additional space in the basement we did not except to find that our mature Tree of Heaven had set roots deep into the walls and was causing extensive damage. Mark and his team worked with our structural engineers and the Local planning authority to allow the tree to be removed and the stump and roots treated to prevent regrowth. The tree was protected so the TPO application and report was put together by Dovetail. In 8 weeks the required permissions where is place and the team where on site, the removal went without an issue and the team where amazing. 2 weeks later the stump was ground out to allow re-landscaping. the building renovations could then continue without further delay, we will be using Dovetail again without question.
