Dovetail was established by Managing Director Lee Butterworth back in 2011, his passion for the living environment and its management led to the forming of a total facilities management company. In 2014 Dovetail was in the position to expand and create Dovetail Trees a dedicated tree management company. Lee and Mark Cattell formed the new company with Mark heading up the tree teams. The department has gone from strength to strength, becoming Arboricultural Association approved Contractors in 2016. Clients range from Domestic home owners, commercial client and local authorities.

Chris Joined the team as a supervisor some years ago, his organisational ability, team management skills and dedication is real asset. Chris has just completed additional practical training with the wildlife trust, up skilling him to carry out effective bat scoping surveys, nesting word surveys and both reptile and small mammal surveys, a great addition to our service provision and positive influence on the environmental compliance and impact of all out tree related works.

Daniel Savage Technical support

On completion of his practical a training and Foundation Degree Daniel Has worked for both commercial arboricultural companies and within the academic industry teaching basic tree skills to students. Dan is currently working as Dovetails Consulting Arborist undertaking tree condition surveys, site audits and customer support duties. his passion for trees and the greater environment is a great asset to the company.
